Log and journal of the Bristol ship “Black Prince,” which was engaged in slaving voyages. This manuscript covers her seventh and eighth voyages to the Gold Coast of Africa. The material is partly in tabular form, listing occurrences, transactions, courses, and positions.

The Making Of The Modern World: The Goldsmiths’- Kress Library of Economic Literature 1450-1850 (formerly The Making of the Modern Economy) provides digital facsimiles of works of literature on economic and business published in Europe and North America from 1450 through 1850. Works in numerous European languages are included in this vast collection of material on commerce, finance, social conditions, politics, trade and transport.

This database provides access to over 140 newspapers from 22 islands in the Caribbean region. Titles are printed in English with additional sources in Danish, French, and Spanish. Years span from 1718-1876.
